Jaitley faces wrath of 5 women ministers

Smriti Irani, Uma Bharti, Maneka Gandhi, Najma Heptullah and Harsimrat Kaur are seething with anger over the step-fatherly treatment meted out by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to their ministries.

All of them have faced a cut in allocation of funds to their ministries.

So massive is the cut that Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani brought the matter to the notice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, the PM directed her to take up the matter with Jaitley who, however, expressed his inability to do anything in the matter, saying he is left with no funds in the kitty.
