Akali MPs debrief Jairam Ramesh about meeting Jaitley

On Tuesday Akali Dal MPs met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to protest against some clauses in the BJP's Land Acquisition Bill.

They were to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi but as he was leaving for Sri Lanka he told them to meet Jaitley instead.

Now comes the interesting part. Soon after these MPs returned to Central Hall after meeting Jaitley, the first person to meet them and get a debriefing from them was Jairam Ramesh -- who had originally piloted the UPA's land acquisition bill.
