Popular film and TV actor Alok Nath, was trolled today after he tweeted an abusive message and later deleted it.

It all started after activist Kavita Krishnan took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his radio programme Mann ki Baat where he urged citizens to share selfies with their daughters.

Krishnan, secretary, All India Progressive Women Association (AIPWA) called Modi a "lame duck PM" and accused him of "stalking daughters".

Krishnan's comments didn't go down well with Modi supporters and she was trolled.  But among the many comments, what grabbed eyeballs was Alok Nath's tweet where he called Krishnan a "bitch."

Although the tweet has been deleted, screenshots of Nath's tweet have started doing the rounds.

In January, last year, for no apparent reasons, jokes, based on Alok Nath started trending on Twitter and by the next day he was the top 2 trending topics on Twitter India with the #sanskari babu, a reflection of the roles he has essayed.
