June 25, 2015  12:56
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis defended state education minister Vinod Tawde, saying the latter had made it very clear that he had done his BE from Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth. "Vinod Tawde's matter is being brought up without any reason. He has not said anything wrong in the affidavit. He has made it very clear that he did his BE from Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth."

The Maharashtra Congress protested against Tawde yesterday and demanded his resignation following a row over his alleged fake engineering degree.
