Delhi's Rajpath is an ocean of yoga mats

New Delhi's Rajpath, whree thousands are gathered in a wet, dark morning to heed the call of International Yoga Day, is an ocean of yoga mats, with yoga practitioners doing neck rolls and other warm-up practices before actually getting to doing the asanas.

By all, it is an impressive sight, with people across age groups gathered to mark India's finest exposition of its soft power.

The prime minister himself is present among the crowds, doing yoga, while on stage is a bevy of celebrities, from Shripad Naik, popularly known as the the minister for yoga, to Baba Ramdev.
