Raje gave written statement in my support: Lalit Modi breaks silence

In his first ever interview since the controversy over his travel documents broke, the former Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi in an interview to Rajdeep Sardesai on India Today confirmed that the Rajasthan CM had provided a written document in his support to travel out of the UK. In fact, he said that Raje had also accompanied his wife to Portugal for her cancer treatment.

He further said that the Swaraj family has been family friends for over 20 years. When asked about the ED charges against him, a defiant Lalit Modi said, "I challenge the ED to prove even one charge against me."
