President Pranab Mukherjee will administer the oath of office to newly appointed Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) K V Chowdary and Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Vijai Sharma in New Delhi tomorrow.


The President will administer the oath of office to Chowdary as CVC and Sharma as Chief Information Commissioner at a function to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan tomorrow, a statement issued today by the President's secretariat said.


Their appointments were approved yesterday by the President, a week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leader of the Congress in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge recommended their names.
