Delhi Law Minister JS Tomar sent to 4-day police custody on charges of cheating and fraud in obtaining his law degree.

Forty-nine-year-old Tomar, member of Legislative Assembly from Trinagar and a first time minister, was arrested around 11 am following investigation into a complaint by the bar council of Delhi that he had obtained a fake law degree from the Institute of Legal Studies College in Munger in Bihar.

The Delhi police had sought in a court five-day custody remand of Tomar.
