A day after the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau released an audio clipping purported to be a conversation between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and a member of the Anglo-Indian community, TDP MLA Umamaheshwar Rao filed a police complaint against Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao for allegedly tapping into the phones of TDP MLAs of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

On Sunday, the Telangana anti-corruption bureau shared an audio recording with a section of the media.

In the audio, Naidu is heard allegedly speaking briefly with Elvis Stephenson, who was later nominated as an MLA by his community, just before elections for five seats to the Telangana Legislative Council were held last Monday.

Naidu was apparently assuring Stephenson of support.
