A day after his meeting with Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said there is no doubt over the involvement of the Congress in the anti-BJP alliance being put together in poll-bound Bihar.

"I had a good discussion with Rahul Gandhi yesterday. The Congress is a part of any future alliance against the BJP," the Janata Dal-United leader said while addressing reporters in Patna.

Nitish said the alliance has planned a rally on June 18 against the controversial land ordinance, which has been pursued vigorously by the Narendra Modi government.

Nitish had broken his 17-year-old alliance with the BJP in Bihar in 2013 after Modi was chosen as the prime ministerial candidate by his party.
