One killed, 7 injured in clashes between sikh youth, JK cops

A youth was killed and seven people, including three policemen, were injured as clashes erupted today between police and a group of sikh youth who were protesting against removal of posters of slain Khalistani militant leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale in Jammu city. 

Army tonight staged flag march in parts of the city as the situation remained tense. Authorities imposed Section 144, which bars gathering of more than four persons at a place, in various parts of the city. Some youth were taken into custody, police officials said.
