3 pedestrians killed as a motorcycle runs over them

Three persons, including two elderly women, who were asleep on a pavement behind a bus terminus in Chennai were killed on the spot after a speeding motorcycle with three teens ran them over in the early hours of Wednesday, reports the Hindu.

Four others sleeping at the same spot escaped with injuries. The teenagers who rode the bike were arrested by police from a hospital nearby.
