Yakub Memon has been buried at the Bada Kabaristan with Islamic rites at 5.20 pm.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria visited Bada Kabaristan to take stock of the security situation.

Maria visited Mahim twice earlier to oversee security arrangements around the Memon residences -- the Bismillah and Al Hussaini buildings near the Mahim dargah.
