Govt sends feelers to Cong ahead of Parliament session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed two of his senior Union Ministers to contact the Congress leadership and discuss the various pending legislations ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament to begin on Monday.

Every government sends envoys to the opposition ahead of a Parliament session and the Modi govt is no different, except for the fact that the government expects major disruptions in the session thanks to the Lalit Modi-Vasundhara Raje-Sushma Swaraj controversies.
