Saradha scam: TMC leader Mukul Roy to appear before CBI today

Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy on Friday said he would "fully cooperate" with CBI in its probe into the Saradha chit fund scam and claimed he had not committed any "immoral activity".

"I will meet the investigating agency in the morning and fully cooperate in the investigation. But what I had said on the first day, I am repeating it today. I was never involved in any immoral activity individually or as the custodian of the party," he told reporters on Thursday.

The former railway minister has been summoned by CBI to appear before it in connection with the Saradha scam
