Jayanthi Natarajan: I have been a faithful, loyal servant of the party, utter loyalist of Gandhi family, and I have no shame in saying this.

"I followed rules, I did as my party told me, I was never told by Rahul Gandhi that I was holding up environment projects, as was told by him in FICCI."

"I want to uphold the legacy of my family, my integrity, I only did the right thing for my country, I committed no wrongdoing.

"There is a suffocating atmosphere of lies in the Congress.

"So, today, I announce my resignation from the primary membership of the Congress."
