Congress forced me to attack Modi on Snoopgate: Jayanthi

Is Jayanthi Natarajan in her letter to the Congress president Sonia Gandhi says, that she was forced by the Congress to attack then BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi, now Prime Minister, in what was called the Snoopgate controversy. She said she had been reluctant to do so, since it was a personal matter.

The opposition alleged that as Gujarat Chief Minister, Modi, through his then Home Minister Amit Shah, had ordered the illegal surveillance of a young woman architect during her visits to Gujarat.
