Padma Vibhushan for Advani, Bachchan

PTI reports: BJP patriarch L K Advani and superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador for Gujarat, will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour in the country.

The announcement comes a day after Yoga guru Ramdev and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar declined the Padma award for them reportedly being considered by central government on the occasion of the 66th Republic Day.
