President Obama regrets cancellation of Taj visit: White House

The White House has issued a statement saying that US President Barack Obama regrets the cancellation of his visit to the Taj Mahal during his three-day visit to India.

The US president was scheduled to visit the Taj on January 27 on the final day of his visit but will now instead fly out earlier to Saudi Arabia to meet the new king following the demise of King Abdullah.
