Queen becomes world's oldest monarch following death of Saudi king

The Queen is now the world's oldest monarch following the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. Abdullah, who was 90, was two years older than the Queen, who will be 89 in April. She is one of eight octogenarian monarchs in the world, with others including the King of Thailand and the Emperor of Japan.
