EC censures Arvind Kejriwal over 'communal riots' remark

The Election Commission has censured Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party incited communal violence in Delhi. The EC had sent a notice to the AAP chief for his controversial comments.

Kejriwal had alleged that the BJP was trying to play the communal card in Delhi by instigating tension and violence in Trilokpuri and Nandnagri, besides trying the same in Nangloi and Bawana. He also sought to link BJP to attacks on churches in the city.
