Delhi to go to polls on February 7, counting on Feb 10

Delhi will go to polls on February 7 and the results will be announced on February 10, the Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath announced. He also added that nominations would open on January 14 and close on January 21. The scrutiny of the candidates would be on January 22 and the last date of withdrawal would be on January 24. CEC Sampath will retire from his post on January 15, which might make this his last press conference.

Delhi has been under President's Rule since February last year after Arvind Kejriwal-led government quit after 49 days in office.
