Addressing the delegates at the summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "There is tremendous interest in India. Countries are coming forward to work with us. India is the world's largest growing exporter. India has many solutions to a single problem. We want to promote competitive and comparative federalism in the country." 

"We will have to change the way we have been approaching problems. Recession is often seen just in context of business and industry: Have we ever thought of recession as being the result of low per capita income in countries where a majority of global population lives? Have we ever thought of its solution in terms of enhancing common man's employability, income and purchasing power," he asked.
