Another suspected IM operative arrested at Mangaluru

Another suspected Indian Mujahideen operative has been arrested at the Mangaluru international airport before he was to board a Dubai-bound flight.

Riyaz, 32, who was residing at Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district, was picked up last night by Bengaluru police with the help of their counterpart in Mangaluru, police said today. He was held based on information provided by three suspected IM operatives who were arrested on January 8 at Bhatkal and Bengaluru. Riyaz had been taken to Bengaluru for interrogation, police said.
