One of 2 constables accused of raping minor in Baduan arrested

One of the two constables accused of raping a minor girl in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun arrested from Bareilly railway station.

Constable Avanish Yadav was arrested when he was about to board a train for Delhi.

Avanish, along with constable Veer Pal Singh Yadav, had allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped a 14-year old girl in the Musajhag police station in Badaun district on New Year's eve and was on the run since then. Pal is yet to be traced. Both the constables have been suspended.
