Press Club invites entries for awards in journalism

The Mumbai Press Club has invited nominations from journalists across the country for best stories in 10 categories for its coveted Redink Awards for excellence in journalism.

Journalists from print, television and digital media have been invited to submit their entries by February 28 for the awards which carry a total prize money of over Rs 20 lakh, said a release.

For the first time in its five-year history, the awards have been expanded to include television and visual stories on par with print and digital media.

In order to encourage investigative journalism and stories that make a difference, separate awards have been instituted for best writing and TV stories in categories of human rights and environment.
