Mulayam invites Sonia for grand nephew's wedding

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today invited Congress president Sonia Gandhi to his grand-nephew Tej Pratap Yadav's wedding on February 26.

Tej Pratap, who is a member of Parliament from Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh, will marry RJD chief Lalu Prasad's youngest daughter Raj Laxmi on February 26 in New Delhi. 

A few days ago, Lalu Prasad had also met Gandhi. 

The two Yadavs are in the forefront of consolidation of opposition forces, bringing six constituents of the erstwhile 'Janata Parivar' under the banner of one party. 

These parties include SP, Janata Dal (Secular), Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal (United), Indian National Lok Dal and Samajwadi Janata Party.
