Govt reacts to Obama: Religious tolerance inherent to India

Home minister Rajnath Singh on Barack Obama's statement that the "acts of intolerance" experienced by
religious faiths of all types in India in the past few years would have
shocked Mahatma Gandhi.
Rajnath responds saying religious tolerance is inherent in Indian culture. "Sects of all Muslims/Parsi/Christians are found in India. In our nation we do not discriminate on the basis of caste/creed/religion," he said.
