PM Modi unveiled the statue of former Kerala CM R Shankar in Kollam.

"Happy that SNDP gave me opportunity to unveil statue of a great like Shri R Shankar, will always remember this day," PM Modi made a veiled dig at Congress protests while speaking in Kollam in Kerala.

The PM who is in Kollam to inaugurate the statue of former CM R Shankar, said, "The poor have the first right on our Government & our efforts are focussed on empowering them."

"People who lost 2014 Lok Sabha elections are now not allowing the Parliament to function," PM Modi said.
