Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on the CBI raid: "It has become a fashion with Arvind Kejriwal to take the PM's name for everything."

The Aam Aadmi Party has said that the Modi sarkar was indulging in the worst kind of vendetta politics by getting the CBI to carry out raids at the Delhi CM's office.

The CBI has stated that the searches were being carried out against the Delhi CM's secretary Rajendra Kumar, on the allegation of abusing his official position by favouring a particular firm in the last few years in getting tenders from Delhi government departments.

Kejriwal tweeted, "If the CBI had any evidence against Rajendra, why didn't they share it with me? I would have acted against him. I'm the only CM who dismissed, on my own, a minister and a senior officer on charges of corruption and handed their cases to the CBI."

The Delhi CM's office on the third floor of the Delhi Secretariat has been sealed, the staff not being allowed to enter. Files are being searched on the  floor as well.

Delhi deputy CM tweeted, "Files in Delhi CM's office are being looked into, they should tell what do they want?"
