EAM Sushma Swaraj has to make a statement in Parliament after she returns from Islamabad tomorrow. Her visit has raised objections from opposition parties who have accused the government of a flip-flop on its Pakistan policy. The first visit by an Indian foreign minister in three years came about after a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif in Paris two weeks ago on the sidelines of a climate change conference in Paris. That meeting led to secret talks between the National Security Advisors of both countries in Bangkok last week.
