Salman hit-and-run-case: Court continues to dictate order

The Bombay High Court today continued to dictate its order in the 2002 hit and run case involving actor Salman Khan. The actor has appealed against his conviction by a Mumbai Sessions Court.

In May this year, the 49-year-old superstar was convicted for culpable homicide not amounting to murder amongst other charges sentencing him to five years in jail.

While dictating its order on Monday and Tuesday, the court questioned the quality of evidence brought by the prosecution against the actor.

The court yesterday questioned the manner in which the blood samples of the actor were collected and analysed observing that requisite and necessary care was not taken while taking the blood sample.
