Drunk Russian diplomat punches, abuses Delhi cop

According to reports, a Russian diplomat allegedly hit a Delhi cop after a drink-driving incident.

The incident happened late at night around 1:30 am where the diplomat after hitting the bike was asked to stop by the police. But instead of stopping, he slammed his car into the barricade.

The diplomat refused to come out of the car and allegedly punched and abused a constable on duty. He was later taken away by his friend, who had a lengthy discussion with the police.

The police have established contact with the Russian embassy and are contemplating legal action.
