More updates on EAM Sushma Swaraj's speech at the Heart of Asia conference in Islamabad.

Swaraj invited her counterparts from Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and other Asian countries to India next year.

"I look forward to welcoming you all in India next year," she said at a meeting of foreign ministers at the "Heart of Asia" conference in Islamabad.

-- Swaraj also pushed for Pakistan to allow the transit of goods from Afghanistan to India.


-- It's our collective duty to ensure that forces of terror and extremism do not find sanctuaries and safe havens in any name or form.

-- For its part, India is prepared to move our cooperation at a pace which Pakistan is comfortable with.

-- India is ready to work with Afghanistan to strengthen its defence capability.

-- It is our collective duty to ensure that the forces  of terrorism and extremism do not find sanctuaries and safe havens in any name, form or manifestation.

-- India extends its hand to Pakistan as well. It is time that we display the maturity and self confidence to do business with each other. 

-- India's vision for Afghanistan is one of interlinked trade, transit, energy and communication routes with the country as an important hub.
