National Herald case: Will fight it in SC, says Gandhis' lawyer Abhishek Singhvi

The Congress says it will not only approach the apex court in the National Herald case but will also seek a stay in the proceedings. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Sinhgvi is representing both Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the case. Singhvi says, "We believe there is substantive merit in the quashing petition (against summons) that we had filed. We believe this decision is legally sustainable."

BJP's Subramanian Swamy the petitioner in the case says that if the Gandhis have decided to approach the SC, he is ready for that, though the HC had specifically said the case should be tried in the trial court.
