Bomb hoax sends Delhi Police into a tizzy

A phone call about three unattended bags lying on the busy Barakhamba Road in New Delhi today sent the Delhi police into a tizzy.

The incident was reported around 2 PM and the caller informed police about the abandoned baggage spotted right outside Arunachal Building on Barakhamba Road, said a senior police officer.

A police team, along with bomb disposal squad, was rushed to the spot and the area was sanitised. However, no explosive or any other element which could cause threat was found in the bags, the officer said.
