Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna trade blames as police grill them

In the latest twist to the Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukerjea and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna accused each other for the crime as the Mumbai police grilled them at Khar Police Station yesterday, the PTI reported quoting a police official.

The police said that both Indrani and Khanna were trying to dodge the questions by giving evasive replies, the PTI added.

Sheena, daughter of high-profile TV tycoon Peter Mukerjea's wife Indrani, was allegedly murdered in 2012 and her was body disposed of in Raigad district.

On Saturday, police said the death threats apprehended by Sheena's brother Mikhail Bora were genuine and he was in Mumbai around April 24, 2012 when his sister was killed.

Living up to his claims, he provided some evidences to the investigators, which Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said were being verified.
