The Pakistan army has reviewed its operational plans and is "ready to meet any aggression from India".

The Dawn reports: "We are fully prepared to respond to entire spectrum of threat," Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif said while chairing a corps commanders' conference at the General Headquarters on Tuesday. The aggravating situation on the Line of Control and Working Boundary was high on the commanders' agenda, the Dawn reported. The Pakistan army had been accusing India of fomenting unrest in Balochistan, Fata and Karachi.

This morning terrorists attacked a Border Security Force convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur killing two soldiers of the BSF and injuring 11 others. While one of the two terrorists involved in the strike was shot dead in retaliatory fire the other was arrested.
