Udhampur attack: A militant named Qasim Khan, believed to be a Pakistani, has been caught alive, reports ANI.  The terrorist was caught after an attack on a Border Security Force (BSF) convoy this morning on a highway in Jammu and Kashmir, in which two soldiers were killed. The militant has been taken to a hospital.

Three civilians taken hostage by the terrorist are safe, say officials. The terrorists, who were reportedly wearing military uniforms, attacked the BSF convoy on the highway near Samruli, about 10 km from Udhampur.

It is a rare catch for the forces, especially in a region where terrorists come prepared to "kill and be killed," not "kill and escape."
