MCA won't lift ban on cricketer Ankeet Chavan

Just in: It's good news for SRK, but not for cricketer Ankeet Chavan.

The Mumbai Cricket Association has turned down the appeal by Ankeet Chavan, and won't lift a ban on the tainted player. The ban was stayed by the BCCI for his alleged involvement in spot-fixing in the IPL. However, the court has dropped charges against Chavan as well as cricketers S Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila.
