Airbus 'to sue over US spying'

Aviation giant Airbus is to file a criminal complaint over alleged US industrial espionage, following German media reports, AFP news agency reports.

Leaks from a secret report by Germany's national intelligence agency, the BND, suggest it collected information on European firms at Washington's behest.

In a statement reported by AFP, Airbus said it did not want to speculate on the media reports.

But it said it was alarmed by "concrete suspicion of industrial espionage".
