The ministry of defence says that the two C-17 aircraft carrying communication equipment and Water, 1 C-130J and 1 IL-76 (NDRF teams) return to Palam (New Delhi) due to 'congestion' at Kathmandu airport. India has deployed 13 military aircraft to Nepal as part of Operation Maitri.
