A 24-year-old Indian national suspected of killing his wife inside a Dunkin' Donuts earlier this month has been declared "wanted" by the FBI here which is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading up to his capture.

Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel is said to have been last seen in the New York area after allegedly having fled from Newark in the neighbouring New Jersey state.

The US attorney's Office in Maryland has issued a federal warrant against Patel in the murder of his 21-year old wife Palak Bhadreskumar Patel. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to Patel's arrest.

Detectives say the Patel couple worked at a Dunkin Donuts restaurant in Maryland. They believe Patel killed his wife in a back room just before midnight on April 12.
