Rahul speaks, criticises NDA's kisan policies, land bill

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi finally makes his speech in the Lok Sabha, to oppose the land bill.

'The farmer is India's backbone,' he begins in English, despite interruptions and demands that he speak in Hindi. I will speak in Hindi, don't worry, he says, and continues.

'Whatever we have constructed has been achieved in this country, be it IITs, defence, all these structures, everything has been built on a foundation provided by the farmer,' he says.
