Addressing the Indian diaspora at the Louvre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "India cares for your DNA, not the colour of your passport. At his maiden speech in Paris, he said that even though the elections were held in India last year, their results were awaited with bated breath in France. He added, "From my experience I can say that India has no reason to remain poor."
