Capt Amarinder Singh bats for Sonia, says she should lead Congress

Amid speculation of a change in leadership in the Congress from Sonia to Rahul, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh batted for Sonia and the old guard saying that one could not just cut out the old and bring in the new. Rumours have been circulating that with Rahul's return, he will be put in charge of the party. Capt Singh further said that transition within the party should be a gradual process.
