Three-day old baby returns home as India ends outstanding Yemen evacuation

Over 4,500 Indians have been rescued from strife-torn Yemen in a week. The youngest one, however, came on the final day, yesterday. 

The picture of this passenger, "a 3-day-old baby in incubator along with an accompanying doctor on Air India flight to Kochi", was tweeted by Syed Akbaruddin, official spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs.

India on Thursday wrapped up its air evacuation operations from Yemen rescuing another 630 of its citizens from Sanaa, taking the total number of Indians brought home from the war-ravaged country to over 4,640 besides around 960 nationals from 41 countries.
