Devendra Fadnavis, BJP: "We had a view that our smaller allies must be kept with us, but Shiv Sena was adamant about their proposal. There was not much difference in the Shiv Sena's earlier and new proposal. Shiv Sena was only concerned about CM post and their quota of seats. They never gave a suitable proposal, we could not accommodate our allies in that. There was no flexibility in deliberations. We have decided to go with smaller parties."
