PM Modi to launch 'Make in India' initiative

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the National Democratic Alliance government's 'Make in India' initiative today with the objective of making the country a manufacturing hub for domestic and foreign companies. During his Independence Day speech on August 15,  Modi had appealed to the people the world over to come and make in India and sell their products in any country of the world. He had then asserted that India has the skill, talent, discipline and determination to achieve. Through the campaign, Modi plans to roll out a red carpet in order to attract industrialists and investors into the country to make India into a global manufacturing hub, create more jobs and boost the country's economy.
