The high-profile public reception organised by the Indian community in the US in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York on September 28 would be hosted by Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri and popular Indian-origin news anchor -- Hari Sreenivasan, 40, a PBS News Hour Weekend Anchor.

Or so we were told.

Now, we hear Sreenivasan will not be hosting the show. India actor Akshay Kapoor may just win the joust. Kapoor, an Indian-American, has a handful of films to his credit.
